LOOKING AT HER

The evening
put me on hold
while the night was calling
to the deepest corners of my soul

As

I wept trying not to let go
with the burning of my poetic notes
of the realest feeling i’ve ever known
from a fixed rate to a faulty loan
as the interest grew i never felt alone

All

Emotional economics is what put my queen on a throne
looking at her is like looking at my clone
present yet incoherent
when the history of us became ancient
