I QUESTION THIS

I listened to the waves of your voice
knowing my heart has made the right choice
my soul says you yet i feel bad
not fully being the man you thought you had

Sometimes question this
why does it feel like we always have unfinished business
since you’re always on my wish list

&

Even if i have another she’d always be the mistress
cause emotionally i’ve mapped you out like atlas
while he’s there painting on a blank canvas
with no paint since only i color coordinate & live in your conscious

I dabble in between your hips
feeling sad as i part away from your lips
knowing that you’re not mine just his
then the real question becomes why do we do this

Cover your face cause its wrong but the answer is
only those in our shoes can comprehend this
as it isn’t normal yet i stay in your bliss
with the wholeness of every kiss
